Aspen Power seeks to add 20 US community solar projects to pipeline

Aspen Power Partners, in collaboration with a local developer, is procuring an initial set of 20 community solar projects in Illinois with capacities totaling up to 19 MW, some under construction and to be commissioned soon. Through this acquisition, Aspen expands its reach across five U.S. states, all having community solar programs. Additionally, Aspen acquired over 41 MW of commercial solar projects in New York and Pennsylvania last month. The company, established in 2021 and supported by Carlyle, aims to have a gigawatt-scale portfolio by the mid-2020s.
