Battery tech firm LiNova raises USD 15.8m

LiNova Energy Inc, a start-up specializing in metal-free battery technology, has completed a Series A financing round raising USD 15.8 million. The funds will be used to expand R&D, scale operations, and push the commercialization of its high-energy polymer battery technology designed for EVs, aerospace, and energy storage sectors. In partnership with Saft, a subsidiary of TotalEnergies, they aim to adapt this technology for key markets. Investors include Catalus Capital, Chevron Technology Ventures, and others.
