Belgian wildlife park hosts world’s largest wooden solar carport

Belgian energy company Perpetum Energy has built a 40 MW solar carport at Pairi Daiza, the largest photovoltaic carport made of wood in the world. The project uses 93,786 solar panels from Longi and Canadian Solar, providing green energy to Pairi Daiza zoo and exporting surplus power to the grid.
