Bill aims to cut 45X tax credits for Chinese solar makers in the U.S.

A bipartisan group of U.S. lawmakers introduced the American Tax Dollars for American Solar Manufacturing Act to prevent Chinese solar module manufacturers from claiming subsidies. The bill aims to protect U.S. solar manufacturing by removing tax incentives for Chinese companies and other 'foreign entities of interest'. Various organizations such as the Solar Energy Manufacturers for America (SEMA) Coalition and Defend Solar USA Alliance support the legislation.
