Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has completed the construction of the 600MW Changfang-Xidao offshore wind project in Taiwan. The wind farms will significantly contribute to Taiwan's net-zero goals and increase its offshore capacity by 25%. With a high degree of localisation, the project is expected to generate renewable energy for 650,000 local households and reduce CO2 emissions by 1.1 million tonnes annually. CIP is a frontrunner in offshore wind development in Asia Pacific, including markets like Korea, Australia, and Taiwan.
