Copenhagen Offshore Partners (COP) completed construction on a 600-MW wind farm off the Taiwanese coast. The project, named Changfang-Xidao, consists of two wind farms with 62 Vestas turbines and Century Wind Power foundations. It will increase Taiwan's offshore capacity by 25% and provide energy for 650,000 homes. Majority-owned by CIP, the parks were part of a 900-MW award in 2018. Other investors include PTT PCL, Taiwan Life, and Transglobe Life. CIP also has ongoing projects like the 300-MW Zhongneng and 500-MW Fengmiao. Also, there is a newsletter by Renewables Now available for subscription.
