Researchers from Morocco's Rabat School of Mines have proposed building a hybrid PV and wind power plant in the eastern province of Zagorap utilizing pumped hydro storage. The system aims to provide sustainable energy solutions to achieve energy self-sufficiency and drive economic and social progress in the region. The study involved optimization of system configurations through simulation and analysis of various scenarios to meet the energy demand of villages in Tazarine.
