Researchers from Hassan II University in Morocco have developed a new methodology for continuously monitoring the durability and reliability of PV inverters in semi-arid climate scenarios. Their approach involves comparing the measured output with the predicted normal operating output of PV systems. The study analyzed three different south-oriented PV systems at the Green Energy Park in Ben Guerir, Morocco. The analysis revealed that the Sandia PV Array Performance Model exhibited the lowest root mean square error and high coefficient of determination, making it a superior predictor of inverter performance.
