Cypress Creek powers up 208-MW solar farm, battery in Texas

Cypress Creek Renewables has completed the construction of the Zier hybrid power project in Brackettville, Texas. The project includes a 208-MW solar farm and 80 MWh of battery storage, already assisting the Texas grid operator ERCOT during high demand periods. The project contributes significant tax revenue to Kinney County and the Bracket Independent School District. It is part of a larger 6-GW pipeline of projects backed by Swedish investment group, EQT AB.
