CEZ Group has developed a new solution for securing solar panels in unstable subsoil areas using conveyor belt sections. Engineers from Prodeco, a company within CEZ Group, repurpose retired mining equipment. The use of conveyor belt sections ensures stability on unstable subsoils while avoiding damage to the solar panels. CEZ plans to deploy thousands of modules at the Bílina Mine in Czechia, aiming to transition from coal mining to renewable energy sources by 2030.
