Developers SENS and Callio working on hybrid BESS, pumped hydro and PV project in Finland

Developers SENS and Callio have revealed a hybrid project in Finland at the decommissioned Pyhäsalmi mine, combining BESS, PHES, and solar PV technology. The BESS portion is planned for 85MW power output, with commercial operation in 2025. Financing involves stakeholders like SENS, Callio, and the Finnish government.
