EC approves EUR 1.4bn state aid for hydrogen transport IPCEI

The European Commission approved EUR 1.4 billion of state aid for IPCEI Hy2Move, focusing on hydrogen technology in mobility and transport. This aids will be provided by seven participating states, unlocking EUR 3.3 billion in private investments. The IPCEI encompasses four workstreams to develop hydrogen technologies for transport means with zero emissions, with completion expected by 2031.
