EDF Renewables, partners adding nearly 1.2 GW of green power in S Africa

EDF Renewables and its partners are developing approximately 1.2 GW of renewable energy projects in South Africa, involving wind, solar, and battery storage technologies across multiple sites. The total investment for these projects is ZAR 34 billion, and they are expected to be operational between 2024 and 2026. The projects aim to help reduce South Africa's energy deficit, which is significant.
