Electricity prices fall in most European markets

Electricity prices fell in all major European markets except Italy during the first week of July. The German market saw the largest drop. Negative prices were recorded in several markets, with the Dutch market experiencing the lowest price. Factors such as gas prices, wind energy production, and electricity demand influenced the price decrease. Solar energy production varied across countries, with Spain breaking records. AleaSoft predicts price increases in the second week of July.
