Electricity prices falling in most European markets

Average electricity prices in major European markets fell during the last week of May. Prices decreased in most markets except Italy and Nordic. The largest price decreases occurred in France, Spain, and Portugal. Wind energy production and lower electricity demand influenced the decrease in prices. Solar production varied across markets. AleaSoft Energy Forecasting provided analysis and forecasts for electricity prices.
