Electricity prices falling in most European markets

Average electricity prices in most major European markets fell during the last week of May. Prices decreased in several markets except Italy and Nordic, where prices increased by 6.7% and 12% respectively. The largest price decreases occurred in France, Spain, and Portugal. Solar and wind energy production, as well as electricity demand, influenced the price changes.
