Electricity prices increase in most European markets

Electricity prices in major European markets increased during the week of July 29, with exceptions observed in the Nordic market. The Italian market recorded the highest average price, driven by peaks in daily prices. Price hikes were influenced by gas and CO2 price increases, rising temperatures, and reduced wind energy production. Solar energy production varied across different markets, with France achieving record daily production.
