Elevate and ArcLight to build New York City’s ‘largest’ BESS at retiring gas plant on Staten Island

ArcLight and Elevate Renewables will deploy a 15MW/60MWh BESS unit at the Arthur Kill Power Station in New York City, which will be the largest BESS in the city. New York has a target of 6GW energy storage deployment by 2030, with various projects in place to achieve it.
