US renewable energy developer energyRe secures USD 240 million in financing for the Lone Star solar project with storage in South Carolina. The project includes a 108-MW DC photovoltaic park and a large 198 MWh battery storage system. It is under construction in Calhoun County with completion expected by autumn. The project, capable of powering 17,000 homes annually, has a 10-year PPA with Dominion Energy Inc. Syensqo will receive all RECs generated.
