Engie secures Belgium offshore wind CPPA

Engie has secured a CPPA with Atlas Copco Airpower to offtake energy from the 325MW C-Power wind farm off the Belgium coast. The PPA enables Atlas to run its smart factory in Wilrijk partly on wind energy from the North Sea. This agreement allows Atlas Copco to save 9,000 tonnes of CO2 annually. Engie manages energy from North Sea offshore wind farm and distributes it to companies in Belgium, including Atlas Copco, helping reduce the carbon footprint of operations.
