Eskom runs tender for 19.5 MW of solar in South Africa

Eskom has initiated a tender for a 19.5 MW solar plant at the Sere wind farm in South Africa's Western Cape province. The chosen contractor will handle design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, along with initial operations and maintenance. The plant, consisting of ground-mounted solar panels, will be connected to the Skaapvlei substation. Eskom plans to expand the capacity to a total of 600 MW in phases.
