Eurowind Energy acquires 11 solar projects in Portugal

Denmark-based Eurowind Energy has signed a share purchase agreement for 11 solar projects of 5 MW each in Portugal's Aveiro district, developed by Insun. The projects aim to provide green electricity to around 36,100 households. Eurowind Energy's green energy portfolio will reach close to 120 MW. Portugal's cumulative solar capacity was 3,876 MW by 2023. Noteworthy is the prototype solid-state battery with a high energy density unveiled by European researchers.
