Eurowind Energy to purchase 55MW solar portfolio in Portugal

Danish renewable power developer Eurowind Energy has signed a shares purchase agreement for a 55MW solar portfolio in Portugal. The portfolio consists of 11 PV projects, each with a capacity of 5MW, located in the Aveiro district. Portuguese company Insun is providing development work at the projects. Eurowind's management is optimistic about reaching development milestones. The renewable power sector in Portugal is growing, with a focus on solar energy to meet the government's targets.
