EVLO introduces 5 MWh containerized battery energy storage system

EVLO Energy Storage, a subsidiary of Hydro-Québec, has introduced the EVLO Synergy energy storage system featuring a 5 MWh battery with a lifespan of up to 9,125 cycles over 25 years. The system is cloud-based, NERC CIP-ready, and operates in temperatures ranging from -30 C to 55 C. BloombergNEF projects global energy storage capacity to exceed 1 TWh by 2030, offering various grid-stabilizing functions. Innoventum from Sweden has launched solar carport line equipped with bifacial modules in a larch wood structure.
