The first guarantees of origin (GO) auction in Greece took place, with 14 companies participating. The auction organized by DAPEEP included bidders like Public Power Corp. (PPC), Heron, Metlen, Elpedison, and more. They offered 890 GWh of green energy products, connecting Greek products to cross-border trading. A secondary GO market is planned at HenEx, with the GO prices expected at EUR 5 per MWh. European GO market is projected to reach EUR 3.7 billion by 2030, with a shift towards renewables like photovoltaics and wind farms.
