Form Energy to deploy 100-hour iron-air battery system in US

Form Energy, a Massachusetts-based grid-scale energy storage developer, announced an agreement with Georgia Power to deploy a 15 MW / 1.5 GWh iron-air battery. The project aims to enhance grid reliability and resiliency in Georgia. Georgia Power's President, Kim Greene, highlighted the importance of new technologies like multi-day energy storage. The collaboration between Form Energy and Georgia Power aims to provide long-term grid reliability and resiliency through innovative energy storage solutions.
