France deploys 1 GW of solar in Q1

France's Ministry of Ecological Transition reported 1,013 MW of new PV systems connected to the French grid in Jan-Mar 2024. The cumulative installed PV capacity reached 21.1 GW by the end of March 2024. Regions like Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, and Grand Est lead in new capacity.
