SolarinBlue, a company that develops offshore photovoltaic solar parks for challenging conditions, has secured €6 million in funding for its 1 MWp offshore PV plant in Sète, France. The project, named Méga Sète, will be located off the coast of Sète and is expected to generate over 1,300 MWh of electricity. The electricity will power the infrastructure of the port of Sète-Frontignan. The project is backed by a consortium including SolarinBlue, Technip Energies, and universities, and is set to replace the Sun'Sète demonstrator in 2025.
