Freja clears Swedish permitting hurdle

The County Administrative Board in Västra Götaland recommends approval of Freja Offshore's plans for an offshore wind farm named Mareld, with modifications. Mareld is estimated to deliver 12TWh annually to the Swedish power grid, meeting the increasing electricity demand in Western Sweden. The recommendation follows adjustments ensuring coexistence with societal interests. Carl Dandanell and Marcus Thor, executives of Freja Offshore and Hexicon respectively, express support for the project.
