French authorities approve 450 MW agrivoltaic project

The Terr’Arbouts agrivoltaic project in Landes department, France, led by Green Lighthouse Développement, involves 35 farmers diversifying crops with 200 hectares of solar panels generating 450 MW of power. It aims to support livestock farms and local needs with a rotation of fodder, oilseeds, and omega-3-rich crops. The project has received sustainability approvals and will be commissioned in 2028.
