French outfit to acquire Swedish PV developer

Helios Nordic Energy, founded by Andreas Tunbjer, Magnus Rahm, and Johan Lundin, has agreed to sell to SunMind, a subsidiary of Vinci. Established in 2019, Helios develops utility scale solar power projects in Sweden. The company has successfully sold 1GWp of solar projects and has a pipeline of projects in Sweden, Finland, and Norway. Andreas Tunbjer expressed pride in the team's achievements and the trust earned from investors. The founders and management will stay post-acquisition. Advisors for the sale include Carnegie Investment Bank, EY Corporate Finance, Setterwalls Advokatbyrå, and BAHR. The transaction will be finalized upon FDI approval by Swedish authority ISP.
