Funding secured for 60 MW solar plant in Romania

The INVL Renewable Energy Fund I from Lithuania, managed by INVL Asset Management, has secured €24.4 million for a 60 MW solar farm in Dolj County, Romania. The funding comes from The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and Eiffel Investment Group. INVL Renewable Energy Fund I is investing in Romanian solar projects and has a presence in Poland. Romania reached 2.6 GW of solar capacity last year. Korkia and Econous Green Energy plan to develop 600 MW of solar in Romania.
