Grid-connection secured for Eolmed floating wind farm off France

A deal has been signed for the interconnection of the 30-MW Eolmed floating wind park being built in French waters with national transmission system operator Reseau de Transport d'Electricite (RTE). The project involves several companies including Qair, BW Ideol, TotalEnergies SE, and Prysmian SpA. The wind park, located off the southern French coast, will feature three V164-10.0 MW turbines by Vestas Wind Systems. Eolmed is set to become France's biggest floating offshore wind site.
