GridBeyond to provide 8MW of Irish BESS capacity

GridBeyond will supply two data centres owned by Keppel DC REIT, near Dublin, Ireland, with battery storage systems. The projects include the installation and management of battery energy storage systems (BESS) at the Citywest site and the Ballycoolin site. Power from the batteries will be discharged in response to grid operator instructions to provide green power during times of grid stress. Keppel DC REIT aims to achieve its 2030 net zero targets through the partnership with GridBeyond.
