High demand, lower solar output drive up European electricity prices

Electricity prices rose in most major European markets last week with increased demand and reduced solar and wind production affecting prices. AleaSoft Energy Forecasting reported the changes. Solar energy production declined in major markets, although there were predictions for an increase in certain countries in the following week.
