HPP Komarnica on standby for two years, completion of HPP Gvozd delayed by one year

The completion of the Gvozd wind farm has been delayed for a year, facing serious obstacles with losses of EUR 15 million. President of EPCG’s Board of Directors, Milutin Đukanović, highlights challenges with permitting procedures. The Komarnica hydropower project, on hold since 2022, involves investments of EUR 260-290 million. HPP Kruševo, part of Montenegro's energy plan, sees progress. Plans for gas power plants, a memorandum with EDF, and a study for pumped storage hydropower plant are also in motion.
