Montenegro’s EPCG, EDF sign memorandum of understanding

Montenegrin and French state-owned power utilities Elektroprivreda Crne Gore and EDF have signed a memorandum of understanding to cooperate in the construction of hydropower plants. The focus is on energy transition, low-carbon technologies, and applying international standards in environmental protection and social issues. The memorandum aims to develop new hydropower projects, energy storage solutions, and other projects mutually agreed upon. The partnership is expected to enhance Montenegro's energy security.
