Hungary awards funding for 440 MW of storage

Hungary's Ministry of Energy has allocated substantial subsidies for energy storage projects to enhance green energy production and storage in the country. A total of 440 MW will be developed under the latest tender, with a target to significantly increase domestic energy storage capacity. Key components include financial supports from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, construction of the largest energy storage system by MAVIR, and the launch of the Napenergia Plusz Program to boost residential solar installations.
