Hungary’s Gemtech eyes 10 MW solar project in Albania's Fier

Gemtech, a Hungarian crane manufacturer's Albanian unit, plans to develop a 10 MW solar PV power plant near Fier, Albania, without government concessions or incentives. The project, valued at approximately $12.5 million and supported by HEPA with a grant, aims to generate 12 GWh annually. Its launch was initially scheduled for December 2022, but has been delayed.
