Hungary’s residential PV subsidy scheme draws 20,000 applicants

The Hungarian Ministry of Energy has launched the Napenergia Plusz Program, offering grants for installing residential solar panels and storage systems. More than 20,000 households have applied, with an average request of HUF 4.1 million. The program aims to boost Hungary's solar capacity by over 1 GW this year, enhancing energy sovereignty and domestic supply security.
