Ilmatar progresses 450MW Swedish solar site

Ilmatar has applied for an environmental permit for a 450MW solar farm in Tönnersjö, spanning 450 hectares in Halland, Sweden. This project is part of a significant initiative by Ilmatar, which has surpassed 1GW in solar energy permit applications. The solar farm will connect to the national grid, boosting energy output in Sweden's high-demand southern electricity area SE4. The site, mainly composed of production forests, will focus on regions with low ecological value to minimize environmental impact.
