Intersect Power seals 15.3-GWh battery deal with Tesla

US clean energy company Intersect Power has contracted Tesla Inc to deliver 15.3 GWh of its Megapack battery units for its projects through 2030. The hardware will be installed across Intersect Power’s solar-plus-energy storage sites. Intersect Power's CEO, Sheldon Kimber, expressed that this storage franchise complements their renewable generation expansion.
