Ireland backs 960MW of solar capacity in latest renewable energy support scheme

Provisional results from the Irish RESS 4 reveal that 1,334 MW of onshore renewable electricity won support. Solar PV and onshore wind was procured at an average auction price of €96.85 per MWh. Final results will be released later this month. Aurora Energy Research mentioned the success of RESS 4, and changes were made after ISEA's feedback on RESS 3.
