Ireland launches €20 million fund for energy research

The Sustainable Energy Authority Ireland (SEAI) announced an investment of €20 million in energy research and innovation to accelerate Ireland's transition to a clean and secure energy future. The funding call covers various topics such as decarbonized heat and electricity, energy efficiency, and sustainable energy communities. Ireland aims to have 80% of its energy market come from renewables by 2030.
