Irish project enhances wind use of satellite data

TechWorks Marine, a marine data company, is working on a project with the European Space Agency (ESA) to enhance the use of satellite data in the renewable wind energy sector in Europe. The project aims to establish best practices for utilizing satellite earth observation products in the wind industry. Charlotte O’Kelly, Managing Director of TechWorks Marine, highlighted the value of satellite data in wind park development. Zoltan Bartalis, Earth Observation Applications Engineer at ESA, emphasized the importance of collaboration and knowledge sharing for sustainable wind energy solutions.
