Italy, Spain, and Portugal broke daily records for PV generation during the week of May 20. This led to increased weekly solar energy generation in these markets. Electricity prices increased in major European markets due to higher gas and CO2 emission allowances. Nordic market saw the largest week-on-week increase in electricity prices.
