Jan De Nul, LS Cable win contract for Princess Elisabeth Island cabling

Belgian marine contractor Jan De Nul Group and South Korea's LS Cable & System have secured a contract to supply, install, and test three subsea cables for the Princess Elisabeth Island project off the coast of Belgium. The artificial energy island, currently under construction, will transmit offshore wind power to Belgium's onshore grid and connect to other North Sea countries.
