Krivača, first wind farm in Serbia south of Danube, officially starts production

MK Group and Alfi Renewables inaugurated the Krivača wind farm in Golubac, eastern Serbia with a capacity of 105.6 MW, the first in the country south of the Danube and the Sava river. The construction began in May 2021 and is the first renewable energy project with a commercial power purchase agreement. The investment of EUR 165 million enables the production of 310 GWh per year. MK Group's CEO, Mihailo Janković, announced an investment of close to EUR 1 billion in wind and solar energy. Alfi Renewables, managed by Tomaž Berločnik, is preparing a new fund after the success of the Alfi Green Fund. Serbian Prime Minister Miloš Vučević and Ambassador of Slovenia Damjan Bergant were present at the inauguration.
