Meta signs credits deal for Pine Gate's 204-MW solar project in Texas

US solar and storage developer Pine Gate Renewables signed an agreement with Meta Platforms Inc to deliver renewable energy attributes from its 204-MW solar project in Texas. The solar farm, named Limewood Bell Solar project, located in Temple, will supply energy to Meta's Temple data centre. The project is expected to become operational in 2026. Pine Gate has over 6,000 MW of solar and energy storage projects in development in Texas. This is the first agreement between Pine Gate and Meta for renewable attributes from a solar project in the state.
