Morgan Stanley backs Plus Power’s 90-MW BESS project in Arizona

Plus Power has secured an $82 million investment from Morgan Stanley for a battery storage facility in Gilbert, Arizona. This is part of around $2 billion in total financing for projects in Arizona and Texas, aiming to enhance energy storage capacity and services. Additional funding includes a $98 million investment from Greenprint Capital Management for a project in Texas. Both projects support local energy grids and are scheduled to be completed this summer.
